His first TV performances were for the programme 'Turbo Limick Show' in 1999 where he reached the finals of the childrens singing contest singing songs by Bilonni (his favourite singer) and Toni Cetinski. He participated in the Nile Song Festival in Cairo in 1999 where he won 4th place with the song 'New Millenium Kid' written for him by his father Dario Jelusic. Other achievements include winning the 'popularity' and 'press' awards at the golden Star festival in Bucharest with the song 'Emily'. 
Both these songs appear on his album released in 2003 shortly after winning the Junior Eurovision SC. His winning song 'Ti si moja prva ljubav' is of course also present and also available on a 'single' as well as JESC CD and DVD.
