Billy Gilman  biography discography gallery video boy singer music album His reputation grew as a singer of country music and in the spring of 2000 he released his first single 'One Voice' followed by an album . One Voice (both single and album) were a great successes in the USA. It was released in the UK during the autumn of 2000 where it was a flop due to lack of publicity and the fact that there has never been a real market for country music in the UK. Meanwhile in the USA the songs Oklahoma and Warm and Fuzzy were released as singles. Towards Christmas Billy recorded a carol with Charlotte Church which did generate some publicity for him in the UK but by then it was too late and Sony were not prepared to risk more money publicising his Chrismas album in the UK. Billy has since recorded a further single 'She's My Girl' which is featured as the "When billy was 8 years old, Angela Bacari, an entertainer and vocal coach began training him.
